Key clauses — have a UK-qualified adviser finalise liability and governing law before use.

Scope. Unreserved legal support only for UK clients, as defined in each engagement summary; full-service (including litigation) for Pakistan matters under Pakistani law.

No regulated relationship (UK). LegalX is not SRA/BSB-regulated; we are not your solicitors; no Legal Ombudsman or SRA Compensation Fund access for UK services.

Client responsibilities. For firms: you retain conduct, supervise the work and make final decisions; you check work before use.

Confidentiality & data. Mutual confidentiality; we will sign your NDA; UK GDPR applies; a DPA applies where we act as processor; UK–Pakistan transfers under the IDTA.

Fees. Quoted before work starts; UK work invoiced in GBP; we do not hold client money.

Liability. Reasonable skill and care; liability cap of [£x or fees paid]; nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Consumer cancellation. Individuals contracting at a distance have a 14-day cancellation right; to start sooner you confirm in writing and may owe a proportionate fee for work done.
